भारत सरकार ने एयर मार्शल आशुतोष दीक्षित, PVSM, AVSM, VM, VSM को भारतीय वायुसेना का अगला Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) नियुक्त किया है। वे वर्तमान में Vice Chief of the Air Staff के पद पर कार्यरत हैं।
वे 31 अक्टूबर 2026 की दोपहर को एयर चीफ मार्शल के पद पर कार्यभार संभालेंगे और वर्तमान वायुसेना प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल अमर प्रीत सिंह का स्थान लेंगे, जो उसी दिन सेवानिवृत्त होंगे।
The Government of India has appointed Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, PVSM, AVSM, VM, VSM as the next Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of the Indian Air Force. He is currently serving as the Vice Chief of the Air Staff.

He will assume the office of Air Chief Marshal on the afternoon of 31 October 2026, succeeding the present Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, who will retire on the same day.
