इसी अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने उनके बलिदान स्थल के संरक्षण/जीर्णोद्धार, उनके जीवन पर फिल्म निर्माण तथा उनकी शौर्यगाथा को पाठ्यक्रम से जोड़ने की बात कही। साथ ही ‘नमो प्रेरणा’ कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया गया।
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced the preservation/renovation of their martyrdom site, film production based on their lives, and inclusion of their heroic saga in the curriculum. The ‘Namo Prerna’ programme was also launched.
1. राजा शंकर शाह–कुंवर रघुनाथ शाह
- पिता–पुत्र एवं गोंडवाना क्षेत्र के प्रमुख जनजातीय नायक।
- कविताओं, गीतों एवं लेखनी से अंग्रेजी शासन के विरुद्ध जनजागरण किया।
2. 1857 का स्वतंत्रता संग्राम
- 1857 के विद्रोह में ब्रिटिश शासन के विरुद्ध प्रतिरोध किया।
- स्वतंत्रता एवं स्वाभिमान की भावना को जन-जन तक पहुँचाया।
3. बलिदान
- 18 सितंबर 1857 को अंग्रेजों ने दोनों को तोप के मुहाने से बाँधकर शहीद किया।
- यह घटना मध्य प्रदेश के जनजातीय एवं स्वतंत्रता संग्राम इतिहास में महत्वपूर्ण है।
4. अंग्रेजों के सामने अस्वीकार
- अंग्रेजी अधीनता एवं धर्म परिवर्तन की शर्तों को स्वीकार नहीं किया।
- देश एवं आस्था के लिए बलिदान दिया।
5. विरासत संरक्षण
- सरकार द्वारा बलिदान स्थल के संरक्षण एवं जीर्णोद्धार की पहल।
- उनकी शौर्यगाथा को पाठ्यक्रम से जोड़ने एवं जीवन पर फिल्म/डॉक्यूमेंट्री निर्माण की दिशा में कार्य।
6. ‘नमो प्रेरणा’ कार्यक्रम
- 18 सितंबर 2026 को शुभारंभ।
- उद्देश्य: कैंसर एवं नशामुक्ति जागरूकता, कैंसर की रोकथाम, शुरुआती पहचान एवं स्क्रीनिंग।
1. Raja Shankar Shah–Kunwar Raghunath Shah
Father–son and prominent tribal heroes of the Gondwana region. They created public awareness against British rule through poems, songs and writings.
2. Revolt of 1857
Participated in the resistance against British rule during the Revolt of 1857. Spread the spirit of freedom and self-respect among the people.
3. Martyrdom
On 18 September 1857, the British martyred both by tying them to the mouth of a cannon. This event is significant in the tribal and freedom struggle history of Madhya Pradesh.
4. Refusal Before the British
They refused to accept British subordination and conditions related to religious conversion. They accepted martyrdom for the country and their faith.
5. Preservation of Legacy
The government has initiated steps for the preservation and renovation of the martyrdom site. Work is also being undertaken to include their heroic saga in the curriculum and produce a film/documentary on their lives.
6. ‘Namo Prerna’ Programme
